How many calories does barre3 burn?
We don’t measure calories burned during our workouts for a few reasons. First, our mission is to teach people to be balanced in body and empowered from within. Everything around our class, from the muscle-burning postures to the endorphin-boosting moves to the guided breathwork is designed toward that mission. Also, it's difficult to accurately calculate calories burned in each of our classes because there are so many variables, and caloric burn varies from person to person. At barre3, the results are about more than just the calories you burn during a workout. When you exercise, your metabolism increases, burning more fat and calories as your heart rate elevates and your muscles work. Your metabolism stays elevated for hours after you finish exercising, which means you burn calories long after your workout has ended. If you do want to find out how many calories you burn, we recommend wearing a heart-rate monitor that tracks caloric burn.
